This is my absolute favorite restaurant! The service is always quick with consistent and excellent food. There is a fancy yet chill atmosphere that creates a nice dinning experience.

Great food, rapid service, and a nice experience. We had about a seven minute wait for our walk up table, no reservation in other words. This place's parking lot is always full so we finally took the plunge. Firecracker shrimp appetizer is amazing. Big shrimp in a slightly spicy batter, with an excellent thousand island dressing, on a bed of very cold and crunchy shredded cabbage. Deviled eggs are perfect and if you like them at all, get two orders of four. They won't go wasted. My salmon was spot on, and my wife's creamy chicken pasta was perfect, and large enough to take home and eat for TWO more nights. We'll be back!

This place had it all. Food, service, ambiance. Not being from Texas, I have yet to find a good seafood place. This place deserves its rating. Upscale at a very reasonable price. Noah was our server and we are here the day after Thanksgiving. It was super busy and the wait was only 15 min. They use the yelp reservation system and estimated the wait within 2 min. Started with a hot cup of really good coffee in a Tuxton large cup. Finely a restaurant that has good coffee that I was not waiting for a second cup. We ordered the firecracker shrimp as appetizer and 3 fish and chips that had Alaskan halibut. Noah was so responsive and was very easy to talk with, so cheerful. Very respectful and had a smile for being so busy. The firecracker shrimp had the perfect heat and with the cabbage was some of the best I have had. After just about 15 min we had our lunches. I loved the fish in that it wasn't a slab but cut into fingers making them easy to eat. The slaw was excellent and I am critical about slaw. Shoestring fries were crispy. My one nit is I like the larger fries cause they stay warmer longer and soak up the malt vinegar. Target was homemade. Ambiance was perfect, lots of light and clean. Noah was excellent. Food was great. So what did it cost? With a large tip about 25% for good service was about $20 per person and we were stuffed. I highly recommend if you are near Shreveport stop into Gibbons Grill. You won't be disappointed.

Pretty decent. I can see why it's always busy. Reasonably priced, and the food is delish! It can be a wait to be seated and service can also take sometime due to how busy it is. So with that said, it's also loud and tables are a little too close together for me.

This was our first time eating somewhere in Shreveport that wasn't near the casinos, and we were not disappointed! Even though we did not have reservations, and the lobby was packed, we were still seated within 10-15 minutes. The service was amazing! Our waitress was attentive and always there if we needed anything, but never hovered...(which we greatly appreciate!) The food was delicious! We weren't sure what the quality would be, because the price point was lower than we were expecting (not mad about that at all!) but we were pleasantly surprised. The only ONLY hiccup was the food was only fairly warm, not hot. I really think it's only because they were so busy. Our appetizer came out hot ( we got the trio dip) and I think it's because someone from the kitchen ran it out. We did not ask them to take the food back to warm it up, but I'm sure if we did, they would have very graciously done so. Again, the food was still absolutely delicious. We are looking forward to going back the next time we are in Shreveport. Just for reference, here is what we ordered: Drinks- sweet tea and the Gibbons Martini App- the trio dip Entrees - Husband got the fillet and grilled shrimp, with green beans and baked potato. I had the choose 3, with fried shrimp, salmon and crawfish etoufee, with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. Dessert- we shared the hot fudge brownie sundae

Ordered the Gibbons Trio with salmon, tenders, and fried shrimp. The salmon was bit overcooked for my liking... the entrees weren't that impressive. They were all average to me.... But the stars of the show were the sides! The whipped potatoes were very good. The green beans were some of the best I've ever had. I felt like they were bathed in garlic butter.... Soooo good! I also had the key lime pie to go. I understand it should be sour as it's lime but I feel like it was overly sour... this is coming from someone who likes sour food too. Service by Jaydon was good. Overall pretty good... I don't live in the area but I imagine it's probably amongst the best restaurants in the area.
